How to Post a Comment

  1. Click the comments link at the bottom of whatever post on which you wish to comment.
  2. Write whatever witty remark or useful tidbit you desire.
  3. Choose the profile you wish to use from the Comment as: Choose profile drop down menu. You will have several choices here. The last choice will be the easiest.
    • Google: Get Google account
    • LiveJournal: Get LiveJournal account
    • WordPress: Get WordPress account
    • TypePad: This one isn't free so I don't recommend it unless you already have an account.
    • AIM: Get AIM account
    • OpenID: If you use any of the services listed on the link such as Yahoo and Flickr, you already have an Open ID. Just use your username from that service here. OpenID list of services
    • Name/URL: All you have to do here is give your name. You can leave the URL blank. You don't have to have an account or anything.
  4. Click the post comment button
We would love to have as much participation as possible on the blog, but we realize that there are some out there that interacting with the blog is not ideal for whatever reason. This is why Jeana will be sifting through Frostlist e-mails and making sure any pertinent information or comments find their way to the blog.

Happy Commenting!

  1. I am not sure if this is true for everyone, but there was one additional step for me. I created a google account, and then had to click subscribe to "comments" (right side of this blog page) before I was successful in posting a comment.

  2. Okay, so posting on the blog just got a lot easier!!

Anyone can post a comment now just by going to the last option in the "Comment as" drag down window. This option says Name/URL. You can leave the URL blank and just give your name.

What this means now is that any random person who stumbles across this blog can comment...but I don't foresee that being an issue.

  3. Much easier. And you're right, I don't think we'll have too many unknown visitors.
