Information Give and Take

In preparation for Operation Frost Family Reunion, there are a few pieces of information we need from you…and certainly some information you need from us. Please read the following and respond here on the blog or in an email. Can't wait to see everyone!

Questions That Need Answers:

  1. Have you sent your payments yet? If not, please do send as soon as possible or let me know when you might be able to do that. And remember, if you have not heard from me, I have not received your check.
  2. What are your travel plans? We need to know this to appropriately fill each house. Also, we'll post a compilation on this blog so folks can coordinate on carpooling and such from airports and train stations.
  3. Do you have any dietary restrictions or preferences?
  4. If you are planning to camp, do you need any equipment? I believe I will be able to procure everything anyone might need for free from friends. If not, we'll look into REI.

Logistics You Need to Know:

  1. We will be meal planning in the next two weeks. At this point, we are planning to have all breakfasts and lunches covered and dinners covered for the nights of June 4th, 5th, and 6th. This may change based on what we find out about travel plans. We will send out additional food costs as soon as possible. I anticipate them to be minimal, and they can be paid at the reunion itself.
  2. We have the main house starting June 2nd, but we also have a limit on how many folks can stay there each night. We have the secondary house starting on the 4th. We must be out of both homes by the 9th. Based on the estimations in the responses we received, we believe that this will be adequate. If it is not, we will pursue additional options. Also, in the very near future, you can expect a list of nearby lodging options if you intend to tack on extra days before or after the scheduled reunion.
  3. If you are staying in a house, all linens are included.

We will soon be sending out a brochure of sorts that will include maps, possible activities and attractions in the area, a rough sketch of meals and plans, phone numbers, and any other miscellaneous information we think may be helpful. We'll also link it here on the blog so you can easily access it.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

  1. Thanks, Amy, Jon and Jeana,
We'll arrive, hoping to stay at the big house, the night of the 3rd, staying through the night of the 8th, driving to Portland on the 9th for our flight on the 10th. We'll be flying via Chicago O'Hare, renting a car in Portland.

Not yet sure where in Portland we'll stay on the night of the 9th. If anyone else is doing that, let us know and maybe we can co-ordinate.
